My trade is an IT consultant. My affliction is a recovering alcoholic. My intention for writing this blog is first to entertain and second to shed a little light on addiction. My hope is to make some people laugh and to help make addiction a little more relatable.

I have just turned 50 and have been struggling with addiction for the past 20 years. I started dealing with my addiction 5 years ago and have found that the process is cumbersome, painful, and comical. I believe that everyone has their own form of addiction, their own demons, and their own enlightening. There is no “one size fits all” solution.
